What We’re All About
Mae's Piano Studio provides top quality instruments and facilities to musicians in the greater Mississauga area, and all at affordable rates. Our founder Mae Guo , wanted to give artists with performance aspirations a space to let their creativity and talent shine. Mae Guo is different than other greater Mississauga area teacher out there, she focus on building basic fundamental foundation to develop musicianship. She highly believe in Student learning behavior has to come first before all things. 3rd, helping student develop good practicing habits at home.
A Studio History
Established in 2008.
I started my piano studio in summer 2008 when I just graduated from Carleton University. I have put all my efforts into my studio to make it a better one ever since the first student walked in and I've had hundreds of students over the years. Many of them have passed the high level of RCM exams like Level 10 and many have achieved their goals in piano study. I am so happy to see my student grow in piano skills as well as their understanding of music. Life is good and piano makes it even better.

Why learning piano theory is important to all musician?
Music theory is a way to explain harmony, melody, and rhythm. Using the piano keyboard to learn simplifies it because of the instrument's layout. A piano keyboard is divided up in half steps, octave after repeating octave, which instantly eliminates the guess work.

Meet the Business owner and instructor
Business Owner
I am the owner of my studio. After I left university, I wanted to make my dream come true and this was the reason why my piano studio got started. I am qualified because I am a responsible, friendly and honest teacher. My students are excellent at piano learning and their achievements on piano helped them go to very good universities such as Uof T or UofO or Mcmaster. I love teaching and I love teaching piano to all ages. When I see them grow in their piano studies, I am very happy that they are doing well and achieving their goals. I love to see them be successful and when I see them achieving their goals, I am very proud and honorable to be their teacher.
